I am sleep deprived and doped up on anti-histamines/decongestants. Thank you, Zyrtec-D, for providing me with the ability to breath through my nose! Is anyone else experiencing sudden and strong attacks from Mother Nature? It's not my style to let a little speed-bump slow me down, so I powered through the work day and headed to Millennium Park for New Music Monday, where I enjoyed a free Iron and Wine concert! It was an incredible knitting soundtrack! I brought my June sweater project with me. Since I knit for my mom on Mother's Day, I decided to dedicate this month's knitting to my dad. I'm hoping to be done on time for Father's Day, which seems realistic at this point, because the knitting is FLYING off my needles. I took this progress picture tonight when I got home.
My dad doesn't have overly particular taste when it comes to clothing, so I selected a pattern for him. I'm starting to get a little antsy over the idea of installing a zipper into a knit garment. I've never done it before; have you? Do you have any tips or links to especially helpful tutorials?
