Back to Life, Back to Reality

My reality includes gearing up for work Monday morning, a lot of laundry, an empty refrigerator and an unfinished April sweater. 

I knew this lovely lace get-up was a questionable call for this month. In fact, I'm really an entire week off finishing. And, I'm OK with the failure. Because, once it's finished, I'm not going to look at this project in disgrace as the April sweater that was finished in May. And, I'm confident that I'll be able to squeeze-out a worsted number in addition to completing this marvel; I'll be back on track before June. As I have no real knitterly progress to show you- a portrait of the paradise we were privileged to immerse ourselves in for the past week. I hope you all transition easily back into the work week. I know I'll be putting on my "Little Engine that Could" hat and heading in. See you on the other side.
