Michelle ma belle, sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble,

Tres bien ensemble

The Good. The Bad. The Ugly.

The good: I have made progress on my March sweater project. If this was 50% of a sweater, I think it's safe to say I'm at roughly 70%. The body is done, and I cast-on a sleeve.

The bad: I'm working on the first sleeve. Of two. I could just throw caution to the wind and make it a sweater vest. It might be sexy. What do you think?

The ugly: there are only three (and a half if you count tonight) days left to the month. Two of those days are work days; that's 16hrs gouged out of potential knitting time.

I'm not down for the count, not yet, but it's going to take a miracle, at minimum, obscene amounts of coffee, to have this sweater steamed and seamed (dare I even mention the ends that need to be woven in? Look at them, sweater guts, spewing out.) and ready to wear before bedtime Saturday. And, well, I'm just not sure I have a photo finish in me this month.

It's probably time to start exploring my project options if I plan to have a sweater before April.

This is neither bad or ugly - it is just good! What a fabulous project! Not sure about finishing in time though - there are a lot of ends there.....

I'm seriously in love with this sweater, it is so beautiful. My opinion on the matter is that it should not be a vest, it just wouldn't be as pretty as the sweater version. It's a shame that you don't have the kind of knitting time that you had hoped!

Holy cow -- that sweater is spectacular! I SO feel your pain on weaving in the ends, but promise that it will be worth the torture. Your Mad Men dress is awesome, too. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go click the "follow" button on your blog. ;)

Oh.My.World.
I am SO loving the look of your sweater but I don't envy you having to weave in all these ends. It is going to be worth though, coz it looks ACE

Oh, so pretty! If I'm trying to complete a monthly goal, I sometimes don't count weaving in the ends, especially when there are so many.

That sweater looks fantastic! Well, apart from the ends. Sewing in ends is my Most Hated Thing, so I don't envy you there :)

I think that sweater is awesome, regardless of when you finish it. Love the colour work!

After weaving in the ends on my Hey Teach, I decided in future I'm going to do a few as I go. And there weren't nearly as many as you have! Good luck getting it done! It's beautiful!

I sympathise with you with work getting in the way of craft time! All I want to do is crochet dammit, how I can I be expected to be a breadwinner too??

Have fun with weaving in those ends, the funnest task ever!

I loathe weaving in ends. I love colorwork, but hate the threads left over... Have you considered a sick day??? That might help you reach your goal, but just wouldn't work if you have to take one every month to make your deadline!
Either way, I can't wait to see it finished!

ARgh, I feel your pain with not enough knitting time left...perhaps you need a mental health day from work. You might have a bug coming on. lol Good luck, it looks awesome.

Don't worry if it won't be done by Saturday - it will be just as gorgeous in April, too :)

OMG! I want that sweater so bad! I don't care if it's been 90 degrees here in Southern California...I would risk dehydration for that sweater.
